Mediaclient

Commands:
 -e, --enumdevices                 show up supported devices
 -d, --device=

 -f, --frequency=[in Hz]           frequency in Hz
     --rawfreq=[in khz]            raw frequency for DVB-S/S2 (without tone, voltage
                                   adjustment, also requires symbolrate and FEC)
 -a, --listarea                    List Area (relevant for tuning)
 -A, --setarea=[area]              Set Area (relevant for tuning)
 -M, --Modulation=[Q16, Q32, Q64,
                   Q128, Q256]     modulation parameter for DVB-C
 -S, --Symbolrate=[in Hz]          DVB-C Symbol rate
 -V, --voltage=[H, V, OFF]         DVB-S/S2 Polarisation
                                   H = 18V, V=13V, OFF=0V (if supported)
     --band=[C-BAND, ..]           C-BAND, UNIVERSAL
 -E, --fec                         Forward Error Correction
 -p, --polarisation=[H, V]         polarisation horizontal/vertical
 -b, --bandwidth=[6,7,8]           bandwidth in Mhz for DVB-T
 -r, --rds                         try to retrieve RDS information
 -C, --properties                  list device properties
     --loglevel=[off|min|max]      Set log level
                                   off .. do not log anything
                                   min .. minimal logging
                                   max .. maximum logging
     --signalreporting=[n]         0 .. use videodecoder (fast, default)
                                   1 .. use demodulator (slow, but detailed)
     --readsignal=[n]              read signalstrength n times
     --powerlevel=[n]              read powerlevel n times (not supported by all
                                   solutions
     --lockstatus                  check for dvb/atsc channel lock
     --enable5v=[on|off]           DVB-C/T/T2 devices, enable 5V output

 DAB/DAB+:
     --sid=[N]                     select serviceid (has to be used with -f / frequency)
     --scandabservices=[dabdevice] scan previously selected DAB/DAB+ frequency
     --scandabfrequencies=[dabdevice]
                                   scan DAB/DAB+ frequencies

 FM:
     --scanfmfrequencies=[radiodevice]
                                   scan FM frequencies

 VBI:
   enabling the WSS decoder will spawn a process in the background, please take
   care to shut it down before switching to FM Radio or digital TV
     --wssdecoder=[/dev/vbiN]      VBI device which should be used for WSS decoding
     --wsscallback=shellscript     shellscript which should be triggered when aspect
                                   ratio changes
     --stopwss                     shut down wss server in background
     --dumpvbi=[/dev/vbiN]         dump vbi data, returned data includes 16bit frame
                                   size headers

 Closed Captioning Support (only applies to NTSC / American television):
     --cc-list                     list detected closed caption channels
     --cc-enable=CC1,CC2,T1,T2..   enable rendering closed caption channel into picture
     --cc-disable=CC1,CC2,T1..     disable rendering of given closed caption channel
     --cc-flush                    cleaer all rendering settings

 DVB PID Filters:
 -P, --pidfilter=[on|off]          on  ... will pass the DMX_SET_PES_FILTER
                                           parameters to the HW PID filter
                                   off ... will disable HW PID filtering
 -H, --addpid=[0x10,16,..]         comma separated list of PIDs
 -x, --removepid=[0x10,16,...]     remove selected pid from HW Pid filter
 -w, --listpids                    list currently filtered PIDs
 -F, --flushpids                   flush pid filter table, disable HW pid filter
     --softpidfilter=[on|off|
                      passthrough] enable software PID filter to behave like
                                   the in-kernel DVB PID filter
                                   by default the softpidfilter passes through
                                   the entire MPEG-TS stream if no filter is set
                                   this behaviour is useful but can break some
                                   applications

 Audio Configuration:
 -c, --internalaudio=[auto|
                      internal|
                      external|
                      audioonly]    enable internal audio processing
                                   auto ... use media server based audio when
                                            * tvtime
                                            gets started, otherwise require
                                            external application
                                   internal always use media server audio
                                            bridge
                                   external requires external application
                                            for audio support

     --audiothreshold=[n]          where n is the audio delay in milliseconds
                                   valid values [0 - 2000]
     --loudness=[0-15]             set volume of fm radio chip
     --volume=[0-255]              set analog volume
     --treble=[0-255]              set analog volume
     --audiomode=[mono|stereo]     force mono/stereo(=auto detection)
     --readrds                     decode RDS Program and RDS Text
 -g, --mute=[on|off]               enable audio stream for FM radio

 Diseqc configuration:
             /etc/sundtek_diseqc.conf uses the Linux VDR Syntax
     --diseqc-support=[on, off]    enable or disable internal diseqc support through
                                   /etc/sundtek_diseq.conf
                                   (default: on when /etc/sundtek_diseqc.conf exists)
     --diseqc="E0 10 38 F0"      send diseqc command
     --list-diseqc                 list available diseqc dish configurations
                                   (eg. S19.2E, S28.2E) which will be parsed from
                                   /etc/sundtek_diseqc.conf
     --set-diseqc=S19.2E           set diseqc dish configuration
     --secmini=[A|B]               set burst tone SEC_MINI_A/B

 Extended DVB-S/S2 Configuration
     --enum-current-limit          Enumerates the available current limits
     --set-current-limit=N         N = id returned from enum-current-limit
                                   update current limit for the device
     --enum-lnb-voltage            Enumerate available voltage levels
     --set-lnb-voltage=N           this also requires -V V or -V H to be set
                                   it allows to adjust the voltage output for
                                   horizontal (18V) and vertical polarisation (13V)
     --save-lnb-settings          save current settings to the device

 Remote control features:
 -l, --listrc                      list supported remote control protocols
 -s, --setrc=[protocol]            set remote control protocol
     --enablerc=[/dev/mediainput0] enable remote control polling
     --disablerc=[/dev/mediainput0] disable remote control polling
     --pollrc                      poll raw remote control keys
     --dumprcmap                   dump current remote control map
     --setrcmap=[filename]         update remote control table
     --updaterc=[0, 1, 2, 3]       update internal remote control layout identifier
                                   0 .. internal keymap for flat remote control
                                   1 .. internal keymap for black VCR remote control
     --getrc                       retrieve which which keymap is set

 Device Management:
     --transfermode=[bulk|iso]     Set Transfermode to Bulk or Isochronous
                                   this requires to replug the device,
                                   additionally it requires the device parameter
     --nullpackets=[on/off]        pass through MPEG-TS Null Packets
                                   (default off)
     --bulkpackets=N               Adjust bulk transfer packet number (before a short USB
                                   packet will be sent)
     --ts-settle-timeout=[0-4000]  timeout in milliseconds before data should be sent from
                                   the driver to the application after changing the transponder
                                   (DVB-S/S2 supports this)
     --disable-dvb=
               /dev/dvb/adapterN   disable DVB adapter, no application will be able to access it
     --enable-dvb=
               /dev/dvb/adapterN   enable DVB adapter, make the adapter visible to the
                                   applications again visible to the applications
 DVB API Options:
     --setver=5.0                  Set DVB API Version to 5.0
                                   w-scan is strictly bound to the API version
                                   which it was compiled with
     --fedebug                     (internal use at Sundtek, not available for all devices, dump some debug
                                   to logfile)

 Deinterlacing:
     --vfilter=[on|off]            use deinterlacer filter for analog TV
     --vfilterid=[n]               use filter:
                                   0 .. default filter
 Client Administration:
     --lc                          list connected clients
     --dc=[pid]                    disconnect client

 Stack Administration:
     --shutdown                    shut down multimediastack
     --start=[N]                   start multimediastack, start in N seconds
     --wait-after-start=[n]        wait n seconds after all devices are detected
                                   this gives some time eg. to perform some tasks
     --config=path/to/sundtek.conf also pass alternative sundtek.conf to the server
                                   this only works additionally to --start
     --serverpath=/path/to/mediasrv/
                                   path to mediasrv
     --pluginpath=/path/to/drivers
                                   start, config, serverpath, pluginpath
                                   can be combined (the main command is start
                                   the other ones are optionalt

     --systemdcheck                start via systemd if available
     --wait-for-devices            this is an extended option for the --start
                                   parameter, it will cause mediaclient to return
                                   when all currently attached devices are initialized

 Virtual Interfaces:
     --enablenetwork=[on|off]      enable listening on network
     --mount=[0|192.168.1.2:0]
                                   create virtual adapter and connect with
                                   given device
                                   0 .. local device as returned with
                                        mediaclient -e
                                   192.168.1.2:0 .. remote device
     --unmount=[1]                 Delete virtual device
     --lrc=[1|192.168.1.2:0]       List remote clients, argument deviceid, or remote device
     --tvdummy                     add tv-dummydevice (also known as linux vivi)
     --remove=[1]                  Delete dummy adapter 1
     --scan-network                Scan network for available IPTV devices
     --nettransfermode=[TCP|UDP]   Select transfer mode on the fly, either
                                   TCP or UDP
     --nti=[0-10000]               Increase Maximum Packet
     --netrecoverymode=[ON|OFF]    If ON keep virtual interface alive even when remote host
                                   is shut down and try to recover when needed

 Dreambox Support:
     --enabledreambox[=/dev/dvb/adapterN/frontend0]
                                   connect given frontend with vtuner
                                   default is /dev/dvb/adapter1/frontend0
     --disabledreambox[=/dev/dvb/adapterN/frontend0]
                                   disconnect given frontend from vtuner
     --checkstb                    check if settopbox interfaces are available
                                   this is only meaningfull with the --start option
     --nimbus                      display available nimbus sockets and
                                   show current socketstatus
     --avoffset=n                  AV PTS offset
                                   /proc/stb/audio/pts_offset
                                   /proc/stb/vmpeg/0/pts_offset
                                   value in milliseconds
     --audiooffset=n               Audio PTS offset
                                   /proc/stb/audio/pts_offset
                                   value in milliseconds
     --videooffset=n               Video PTS offset

 Optional tools:
     --portforward=n               connect to sundtek debugging service
                                   please talk back with a sundtek engineer
                                   before using that command, it requires
                                   the debugging console running on our side

     --pipecount=n                 this feature will read data from stdin
                                   and display the periodical throughput
                                   (n seconds, default=1)
                                   add --timeout=N to count data for N milliseconds
     --forward                     combine with pipecount and output bytes to stdout
     --cat filename                cat which uses the media framework infrastructure
     --strings filename            print printable characters only
     --lsusb[=/dev/bus/usb]        print usb id of file nodes [path]/000/001
                                   default /dev/bus/usb
     --reset=devicepath            where devicepath is revealed by lsusb
     --eitscan=/dev/dvb/adapterN/dvr0
                                   Scan EPG / EIT Information (experimental purpose)
     --tsprogram=N                 Filter selected program from tsscan (incl. PAT,
                                   NIT, PMT, PES IDs)
                                   requires -d /dev/dvb/adapterN/dvr0
                                   N .. program number which can be discovered with
                                        tsscan

 Scan Network
     --nitscan=/dev/dvb/adapterN/dvr0
                                   Scan NIT table, output possible network tables
     --blindscan=[/dev/dvb/adapterN/frontend0 | nim_socket ]
                                   Tries to do some blindscan with DVB-C/T/T2/S/S2
                                   optionally this also supports c-band with DVB-S/S2
                                   by adding --band c
     --timeout=milliseconds        Timeout in milliseconds for the nitscan
     --zf=frequency                Calculate ZF/IF to Universal Frequency
     --frontendinfo=/dev/dvb/adapterN/frontend0
                                   Retrieve DVB API level and frontend capabilities
     --cpucheck                    Check CPU scheduler status
     --cpupush=[ondemand,performance,...]
                                   set the scheduler for all cores

 Scan Transponder
     --tsscan=/dev/dvb/adapterN/dvr0
                                   Scan channel information from current transponder
     --charset=[UTF8|ISO8859]      Use defined charset for displaying channels with tsscan
                                   can also be provided via configfile: charset=utf8
                                   the configfile parameter is
                                   --config=/path/to/sundtek.conf
                                   default configfile is /etc/sundtek.conf

 Unicable
     --setunicablefreq=N           Set unicable frequency in MHz, use 0 to disable Unicable
     --setunicablescr=N            Set unicable SCR (usually between 0 and 10)
     --setunicableversion=N        Set unicable Verison (1 or 2)

                                   both parameters need to be issued at once
                                   and the -d /dev/dvb/adapterN/frontend0 parameter

 Streaming Server
     --installstreamer             will install an rtsp streaming server
     --proxy=http://[USERNAME:PASSWORD@IP:PORT]
                                   IP address / Port (127.0.0.1:1234)

 Install Player
     --installplayer               will install the player for the streamingserver


 dvbloopback:
     --createadapter               create dvb loopback device
     --remove=[n]                  delete dvb loopback device
