- press hotsync button of craddle, look now at syslog:
  device /dev/ttyUSB1 is added and works fine by command: pilot-xfer -p /dev/ttyUSB1 -l

- does use libusb + module visor !? should it ?!

- does not restore, hangs instead: "	HTTP Library.prc" , "NetFrontLib.prc".
  Workaround for restoring them: save them first before restoring;
  copy them to card and then retreave to RAM

*  pilot-xfer

- pilot-xfer -p usb: -l
		List  all  the  databases  in  the  Palm,  including OS-specific native databases.

- pilot-xfer -p usb: -C
		Show information on available cards

- pilot-xfer -p usb: -i <file>
		install file (only one file per command)

- pilot-xfer -p usb: -i <file> -D /PALM_1GB-1/Palm/CPY
		Modifies  -l,  -i or -f to use VFS dir instead of internal storage

- pilot-xfer -p usb:  -b <dir>
       "pilot-xfer -p usb: -b /home/john/bkup-1 "
       Backs  up  the Palm into the specified directory (which will be created
       if it does not already exist).

- pilot-xfer -p usb: --delete <dbname>
       Permanently delete the specified database(s) by  name  (without  exten‐
       sion). Obviously, be very careful with this one.

- pilot-xfer -p usb: -D <dir>
                        ( or  --vfsdir=dir)
       Modifies  -l,  -i or -f to use VFS dir instead of internal storage (see
       examples section for usage)
       e.g. "pilot-xfer -p usb: -i <file> -D /PALM_1GB-1/Palm/CPY"

- pilot-xfer -p usb: -e  <file>
                        ( or  --exclude= <file> )
                        pilot-xfer -p usb: -e PmTraceDatabase
       .PP Reads a list  of  databases  from  <file>  and  prevents  --backup,
       --sync, or --update from operating on the listed database(s). A maximum
       of 100 databases can be excluded. Databases should be specified by name
       without the extension, as displayed with --list, in any order.

- pilot-xfer -p usb: -r   <dir>
       Installs  all  files contained in the named directory to the Palm. (Use
       this to restore your Palm after a hard reset has cleared and wiped  its
       memory, using your backup directory as a baseline).
      NOTE doesn not restore, hangs instead: 
        HTTP Library.prc
        NetFrontLib.prc

- pilot-xfer -p usb: -s <dir>
       Backs up the Palm into the specified directory (which will  be  created
       if  it  does not already exist). Any Palm databases which have not been
       modified or created since the versions stored in the  specified  direc‐
       tory will not be backed up.
        NOTE:  Any Palm databases which have been deleted will have their cor‐
       responding backup file removed.

- pilot-xfer -p usb: -u  <dir>
       Backs  up  the Palm into the specified directory (which will be created
       if it does not already exist). Any Palm databases which have  not  been
       modified  or  created since the versions stored in the specified direc‐
       tory will not be backed up.


Conduit Options:
                               -p, --port       or          <port>
       Use  device  file <port> to communicate with the Palm handheld. If this
       is not specified, pilot-xfer will look for the  $PILOTPORT  environment
       variable.  If  neither  are  found,   pilot-xfer   will print the usage
       information.

run jpilot as root ! , switch on Palm, push sync-button on Palm, push jpilot-button: "Sync your Palm to the desktop" (Ctrl-Y)
