run jpilot as root ! , switch on Palm, push sync-button on Palm, push jpilot-button: "Sync your Palm to the desktop" (Ctrl-Y)

-	HowToRestore all
1. prepare DIR ".jpilot"
"jpilot.rc" must exist with the right user + user-id
DIR ".jpilot" must include all files to be restored, file with letters in its name not conform to standard are to be deleted.
file "Ma�anaDB.pdb" has to be deleted

DIR "Backup" must include DIR with the latest backup and link to it

Start jpilot menu: File / restore pilot
on palm-machine, push button of serial cable for hot-sync

should work


2. cold reset of Palm 
( push button on/off and hold it, push reset-button shortly, 
  if screen appears: leave off/on button, choose to "reset and delete all"
)
