Automatic shutdown:

If you define a shutdown command via the '-s' command line option, VDR
will call the given command if there is currently no recording or replay
active, the user has been inactive for at least MinUserInactivity minutes
and the next timer event is at least MinEventTimeout minutes in the future
(see the Setup parameters in MANUAL).

change setting in:
       /etc/vdr/vdr.default
# Change this to 1 if you want vdr to be able to shutdown the

ENABLE_SHUTDOWN=0    ( default: 0 )

       /etc/vdr/setup.conf
(zuerst den vdr mit service vdr stop stoppen, ansonsten wird die Änderung wieder überschrieben.)
MinEventTimeout = 30     ( default: 30  minutes)
MinUserInactivity = 300     ( default: 300 minutes)
