If you no longer require this script then it can easily be disabled without affecting your set-up.
Restore your wifi startup by editing the /etc/network/interfaces file and removing the # from the line
# wpa-conf /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
Then disable the startup script with the command
sudo systemctl disable autohotspot
After a reboot your RPI will connect to your router.
